The INFER Annual Conference is the main annual event of the International Network for Economic Research. The INFER Annual Conference provides a great opportunity for members and non-members of INFER alike to exchange ideas and to discuss results from recent economic research.
The conference is jointly organized by the University of Goettingen and the International Network for Economic Research (INFER).
The venue for the INFER Annual Conference is the Faculty of Economics of the University of Goettingen.
The town of Göttingen is located in the far south of Lower Saxony right in the center of Germany. Of its about 130,000 inhabitants, about 25 % are students.
The University was founded in 1737 and soon became one of the leading university in Europe during the Age of Enlightnment. Its founder, Prince-Elector Georg August of Hannover, later became King George II. of Great Britain.
